Worth Travelling For

Been meaning to visit here for a while. We travelled a good hour to visit and we will certainly be doing so again. We ate on Sunday afternoon, 4 adults and 3 young children. The staff were very helpful, and understanding. Eating out with young kids isn't easy but the staff helped us and we had a lovely table next to the sensory wall. The kids aged 8,5 & 1 all loved it.

The sensory wall is a wonderful idea and we were so impressed with this. Our three all played happily and that made it so much easier for the 4 adults to chat, relax and enjoy the food. The food itself was lovely, very reasonable. The staff took time to chat and nothing felt rushed whatsoever so we could take our time. The staff were also very aware that one of our kids needed a bit of time ordering his food and gently reminded us that we could sit next to the sensory wall if we preferred . We moved table and it was ideal for us.

I just thought the staff member knew it would help us and she recognised that the children would appreciate it also. Well done to O’Connor’s, good food, lovely staff and inclusion. Well done. We will certainly be back.

We’ll Be Back

The best restaurant we have ever been to with young kids. We have 3 smallies under the age of 5. Eating out is stressful to say the least, which is why we rarely ever do it together as a family. O’Connor’s seems to understand this better than any other restaurant. They have gone to great expense to install a sensory play wall in the back corner of the restaurant. When our kids saw it, they couldn’t believe their eyes. We took the table right beside it, and they were happy out playing before and after their food. This cut out a huge amount of stress for us as parents and meant we had a hugely positive family time together. We will be back.

In the meantime, we'll be telling all our friends who have kids that there’s no better place to go for food with kids! Thanks to the very attentive and kind waitresses who were so good with our kids as well. Hugely appreciated.

Amazing Meal

Another amazingly satisfying meal had here this evening, amongst such friendly and incredible staff. Their deconstructed Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake is beyond any expectations though, wow!!

Delicious Prawns

What a wonderful place to call into with our want for delicious prawns as is. And wow, did the chefs accommodate us brilliantly. Delicious meal, accompanied by a fabulous wine and all in such a comfortable, charming setting. We will be back and everyone should make a note to call into O'Connor's when you are in Bantry

Fresh, Tasty and Beautifully Presented

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at O'Connor's Seafood restaurant this evening. Every course was delicious, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Compliments to your wonderful staff who were all so friendly and helpful. The pièce de résistance was the Petit Fours dessert selection which was magnificent
